Do you feel guilty about things you've said and done? Do you lose sleep because of these feelings? Would you like to repair or rebuild your relationships? What about truly forgiving yourself? We all think about our relationships during our lives. Yet this "unfinished business" can be an energy drain, robbing us of vitality and preventing us from having the life we truly want. Left unchecked, it can lead to depression and anxiety. One of life's most important processes is the act of forgiveness -- a process which rids us of self-loathing and bitterness so that we won't live in constant anguish.
Counseling is a way to work on forgiveness. It's like talking with a friend, but your privacy is guaranteed, while the therapist provides clarity and objectivity. As your therapist, I don't "just sit there and listen." I'm present and empathic, using professional listening skills for comforting insight and feedback.
Fully engaging with my clients allows me to offer genuine thoughts and opinions. I'm also willing to initiate and respond to uncomfortable topics during a session, when appropriate. I have extensive experience working with such clinical disorders as bipolar/manic depression and depression, and offer spiritual, life, and dating coaching as well.
