Every component of Jennifer's skills draws upon the evidenced based concept of brain plasticity. Since the brain loves to learn and is capable of change, Jennifer's approaches stem from assisting your brain to learn and grow so that you can create your change.

Jennifer brings over 30 years of experience in working with children, families and an elder clientele in both social services and health. In the counselling relationship, Jennifer's approach is based on supporting you, the client, to self reflect, examine unmet or underutilized aspects to balanced functioning and explore core beliefs which underlie personal choices. By combining reflection, awareness of core needs, beliefs and actions, Jennifer assists you to move ahead with change and achieve further potential.

With Jennifer's complimenting approach of evidenced based neurofeedback, she offers a natural alternative to improve general functioning of the brain by strengthening, calming & improving its stability & flexibility while training your brain. Neurofeedback enhances attention, focus, concentration, memory & benefits hyperactivity issues, relaxation as well as performance. Jennifer can provide the approach of monitoring your brain waves via EEG technology, and give you immediate feedback visually and auditorally. When observing your brain wave activity, in real time on advanced computerized equipment, you can see what’s happening to your brain as your state & awareness changes. For organic brain disorders, such as AD(H)D, anxiety, depression, OCD, addiction etc, it is a matter of getting the brain to function better rather than curing the condition. Gains in brain training can be applied to school, work, artistic pursuits & competitive athletic performance. It is a safe, non-invasive, drug free intervention with beneficial long term effects.
