Hi! My name is Jenn Torres Duran (They/She).

I’m a first-generation Mexican-American queer person. Personally, I’m still in the stage of truly understanding my own gender identity and navigating what that means for me. It is my own lived experience with my culture, my language, and my sexual/gender identity that has shaped my passion to support individuals navigating and creating their own story within their unique identities.

In places that are often feel restricting & judgmental, it can be difficult to truly figure out what your life is meant to be. That’s what the foundation of TYS Counseling & Therapy is all about. TYS helps you step into your agency, discover ways to manage your anxiety, trust your own value and skills, work through past traumas that are affecting you in your daily life today, and/or tackle that voice of self-doubt and criticism that holds you back.
