Relationship problems, depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction are some of the most challenging issues we’re all facing today. My job is to help you effectively and efficiently find and apply solutions to these challenges.
 
Since 1987, I’ve been successfully working with people who’ve struggled with depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions and relationship problems. I have a Master’s degree in counseling from the University of South Florida (1992), and hold the following professional credentials:
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor
  • Board Certified Master Addiction Counselor
  • Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist
  • Certified Master Relationship Coach

My approach with counseling clients is individualized, personable, confidential and solution-oriented. I blend together the best approach depending on the client’s unique personality and the presenting issue. My goal is to help clients better cope with the presenting problems, as well as develop the skill-sets for long term and permanent recovery.
 
I've been privileged to appear on Fox 13 News, Good Day Tampa Bay, NPR, Daytime, News Channel 8, and Studio 10 TV, and have been interviewed in The Tampa Tribune, The St. Petersburg Times and Tampa Bay Times.
 
As a much younger person I had some very close calls and have admittedly made numerous bad decisions. I learned
from these life experiences, and from the experiences with my clients, and that has helped me have a good pulse of what people want, need and are struggling with.
 
I've been on the front-lines and in the trenches, personally and professionally, helping people resolve their relational, professional and personal issues and challenges. I offer personal and creative solutions that work.
