Connection-First Therapy for Individuals & Couples

Relationships shape how we experience ourselves, others, and the world around us. Even people who are capable, thoughtful, and successful in many areas of life can find themselves stuck in painful relationship patterns, emotional disconnection, anxiety, self-doubt, or ways of coping that no longer feel helpful.

You may struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, conflict, emotional distance, or feeling disconnected from yourself or the people closest to you. Couples often come to therapy feeling caught in the same arguments, frustrated by communication struggles, or wanting to feel close again.

Therapy offers a space to slow down, better understand these patterns, and create healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

My Approach

I provide therapy for individuals and couples in Ontario, with in-person sessions in Orillia and online therapy available across the province.

My approach is relationship and attachment-focused. I believe many of our emotional and relational patterns are shaped through our experiences and relationships, often in ways we do not fully recognize until a major transition or new life challenge arises.

Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and practical. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest, understood without judgment, and supported in exploring what may be happening beneath the surface.

Together, we work toward greater self-awareness, stronger emotional connection, healthier communication, and lasting change that feels meaningful in your everyday life.

How Therapy Can Help

Therapy may help you:

  • Improve communication and emotional connection
  • Better understand relationship patterns
  • Reduce anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm
  • Strengthen self-esteem and self-awareness
  • Navigate conflict in healthier ways
  • Develop healthier boundaries
  • Feel more grounded, connected, and emotionally secure

For couples, therapy can help rebuild trust, strengthen communication, and create a deeper emotional connection. For individuals, therapy can help you better understand yourself, your relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
