About Me:

I believe that each person desires to be engaged in thriving relationships, and we do best when connected with others who take the time to listen, to validate and to offer us a safe space in which to process thoughts and opinions...without judgment. My personal journey has equipped me with a compassionate understanding for those who have encountered trauma and loss. In seeing the healing of counselling in my life, and the lives of others, I developed a sincere passion and desire to provide for others, a safe environment where their pain and disappointments could be freely processed. I offer an environment of support, believing that validating our internal thoughts provides greater opportunity for us to find clarity, peace, freedom and hope for the future.

My Passion:

I started my journey as a therapist after witnessing the healing that counselling provided for many who had encountered trauma, heartache and deep disappointments throughout their life. It became apparent that some of the strongest and most relatable people I knew, were not necessarily the ones who had experienced an easy life but rather the ones who had encountered brokenness and managed to pick themselves up in spite of it. They gathered the broken pieces and put them back together to make something even stronger and more beautiful than what they had before. My counselling business is entitled Reclaimed Counselling & Psychotherapy because I believe in the power of guiding someone who once felt lost, into a place where they can feel whole and restored again.

Bachelor of Arts in Bivocational Studies
Completed Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology
Gottman Method Level 1 & 2
EMDR Trained
