Approach to therapy:
  • Relational:  The key relationships in our life play a large part in defining us.  Wounds, hurts, dysfunctions are the result of key relationships that did not go well at critical junctures in our life.  The relationship developed between client(s) and therapist provides the safe haven and secure base for growth and transformation.  This is why couples', marriage, and family therapy can be so productive.  Key life relationships are included within the therapy process.
  • Results:  Clients increase their sense of identity--who they are, where they are strong, where they are not strong.  They increase their ability to trust themselves and others.  Hope, joy, and peace increase.
  • Natural light, provided by three large windows, floods the waiting room.  Two overstuffed swivel rockers entice you to sit and rest.  Some clients arrive early to take a mini vacation from pressured schedules and anxious thoughts.
  • In the consulting room three more large windows greet you as do a love seat and super comfy, upholstered chairs.
  • My office reflects me, my values and my personality.  I love the peace that outdoors and natural light bring.  I enjoy welcoming people into a safe, comfortable and comforting environment.  I welcome deep relationship and strive to provide an environment which encourages just that.
