I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. As a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist, I am passionate about helping kids navigate their way in the world. I can also help with eating disorders, chronic pain and illness, trauma, grief, relationships, separation and divorce, adoption, self-esteem, developmental challenges, and sports performance. As well, I have additional training in EMDR and Gottman Method for couples. Although there is no manual or script to navigate one’s life, there are certainly opportunities for curiosity and self-awareness to deal with feelings, thoughts, and challenges.

I provide a safe, comfortable, and inviting space where you will feel heard, understood, supported, and can begin to heal. Into this space, I can bring movement, art, play, and music as part of your healing. You have the innate ability to cultivate awareness and curiosity about your feelings, thoughts, and present challenges. Writing your own manual means forging a new connection to your self that lasts a lifetime. Whether it's for you, your child, or your family, I'm committed to supporting you all the way through your healing and transformation. Writing your manual means building up your voice, strength, authenticity, wisdom, and purpose.

My career has given me the opportunity to work in hospitals, youth treatment centres, and rehabilitation centres which have all provided me with invaluable insights into the multi-faceted area of mental health.

We all have a variety ways of expressing thoughts, emotions, and feelings which takes courage, trust, vulnerability, and support. “One’s destination is never a place but rather a new way of looking at things.” (H. Miller).

I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and a member of the Psychological Association of Alberta and the Canadian Association for Play Therapy.
