*No Waitlist*  WOW you say...I shouldn't be here. Your life looks great from the outside. But on the inside you're feeling overwhelmed, stressed out and like life is just "too much". Too much work, too much pressure, too much unhappiness. All of this sadness, stress and anxiety has left you feeling hopeless, wondering where to turn for support. Because people in your life (as much as you love and do for them) just don't get you.
I want you to know that everyone goes through difficult times. It is not unusual for us to experience emotional pain or anxiety throughout our lives. Sometimes, we are able to get through it. Maybe the situation improves or somehow we are able to cope. Other times, we need help.
It's OK to ask for help!
Therapy can help reduce your stress and improve your life and your relationships.
Whatever you may be going through counselling provides a safe, validating relationship that helps you gain insight, nurture your strengths and develop the coping skills you need to manage difficult emotions, relationships and life circumstances. Counselling is a great way to spend an hour a week tuning into yourself, your experience and your needs.
I'm here to help YOU make YOU a priority.
My role as your therapist is to listen to what you want and clarify your goals and ambitions. I'm here to listen to  your story, validate your feelings and emotions but also gently challenge you when you need it. Together, we will map out how you’d like things to be and how to get there.
I will teach you new ways to care for yourself and to understand who you are. I will provide a safe and welcoming space for you to say the things that have weighed you down for so long.

My Approach
My role as a therapist is to bring my experience and knowledge to support, guide, and empower you throughout our time together. My style is warm and rather informal. I’m a big fan of humor and we will laugh, a lot. I will hold your hand and walk with you through the pain – I will also gently push you when you need it. I provide a safe space for you to talk, release, process and grow.
You don't have to struggle another day. I can help you heal from past wounds, become stronger, happier and create the life enhancing changes you desire. Let's start that journey. If you would like to know more, please do not hesitate to give me a call or text at 226-270-1242, visit or fill out the form on this site and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Common Concerns
"I've never talked to anyone before. I'm used to handling things on my own. Aren't people who go to therapy weak?"
Not at all! People who ask for help know when they need it and have the ability to reach out - this is a sign of strength, not weakness. Please understand that everyone needs help now and then. You already have some strengths that you’ve used in the past that may not be working now. Perhaps the problem feels overwhelming and it's difficult to get through the day. In our work together I’ll help you clarify the problem, identify your strengths, teach you to tap into your personal power and help you feel strong, confident and emotionally healthy.
"How does counselling work? What do I have to do in sessions?"
Since each person has different issues and goals for therapy, the therapeutic process will be different depending on the individual. I tailor my therapeutic approach to your specific needs. In general, you can expect to discuss, in confidence, the current events happening in your life, your personal history relevant to your issue, and report progress and life events that may have occurred since our previous session.
