Neurodiversity Aware Counselling currently has two counsellors: one in Ontario and one in BC.

In Ontario, Yulia Krupitsky is a Nurse Psychotherapist and Registered Nurse as well as a qualifying Registered Psychotherapist. Julia's approach integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focussed Therapy (EFT), mindfulness-based approaches, and holistic mind-body care. Yulia is also a Neurodiversity Aware Therapy practitioner. Her lived experience of neurodiversity informs an empathy-based approach.

Yulia has particular experience working with neurodivergent clients, offering trauma-informed, affirming support that emphasizes emotional safety, self-understanding, and practical coping strategies. She is known for her collaborative style, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to tailoring therapy to each client's unique neurotype, strengths, and lived experience.

In BC, Dan Spring is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and BC Certified Teacher.  Dan's masters thesis focused on neurodiversity, and he is currently doing a doctorate with research focused on neurodiversity and autism. Dan's approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT), Family Systems Therapy (FST), and mindfulness-based approaches. Dan's approach to counselling is grounded in lived experience of neurodiversity.

Dan has 20 years of experience working with neurodivergent people, which inspired him to create Neurodiversity Aware Therapy, an approach to therapy that integrates other therapy types towards supporting neurodivergent clients.  Neurodiversity Aware Therapy is offered exclusively by counsellors and therapists trained by Dan Spring.
