About the Therapist:
Nina works collaboratively with clients, tailoring therapy to the unique needs of each person. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Schema Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches, Nina helps clients address challenges while highlighting their strengths and inner resources. Her areas of practice include supporting individuals navigating gender and sexual diversity, kink, anxiety, shame and internalized stigma, anger, trauma, racial identity, immigration stress, lifestyle transitions, race-based trauma, spiritual ambivalence, and other major life changes.

Nina’s professional experience spans multiple settings and populations. She has supported children and youth in mental health, guided caregivers and individuals living with dementia through psychoeducation and grief counseling, provided relationship and individual therapy to adults, and offered supervision, consultation, and debriefing for professionals and students. Currently, she focuses her practice on mental health counselling for adults, with a strong emphasis on relationships, personal growth, and professional wellness.

Our Services:
Sometimes clients need ongoing support, and other times a single conversation can make all the difference. We offer both, including Single Session Therapy, which is a 90-minute structured, solution-focused session designed to help clients gain clarity, make decisions, and identify practical next steps without the need for ongoing commitment. In addition, we provide individual and relationship counselling, as well as professional services such as supervision, case consultation, and debriefing.

Important Information:
We provide virtual services only, making counselling accessible wherever you are. At this time, direct billing is not available, so clients are encouraged to confirm social work coverage with their insurance provider. Payment can be made via e-transfer, Visa, or credit card.

Nina is licensed in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Nova Scotia, and is an approved provider with both NIHB and Victims Services. Clients in other provinces can access our services, but may have to pay out of pocket depending on their insurance coverage.

Fees:
Individual Counselling: $150 / 60 minutes
Relationship Counselling: $195 / 60 minutes
Single Session Counselling: $190 / 90 minutes

Services for Professionals: $200 / 60 minutes
