Anxiety/depression, self esteem, trauma,PTSD, grief, loss.
Pregnancy and adoption issues.
As a social worker and mental health practitioner, I have worked with many youth and adults experiencing pain in their lives. It has been my joy to see these individuals become whole, experiencing a satisfied life. The life they were meant to live.
I use a strength based, positive treatment plan to help overcome “stuck” points that immobilize so many of us.
Experience in youth, criminal justice, adoption and mental health, has made me see each individual as unique, possessing capabilities and purpose. Hope brings this uniqueness to the surface of their lives.
Registered with the Ontario College of Nurses, and licensed as a mental health clinician, registered with the Ontario College of Social work, and the Ontario Association of Social Workers, I come with experience in individual, and group therapy. I use cognitive behaviour therapy, cognitive processing therapy and interpersonal therapy.
Equine therapy for use with anxiety and Attention Deficit disorder is also a new project that I am presently planning.
I look forward to being a part of your life!
