Hope. Relief. Freedom.  Peak Neuropsychology provides these things to you from the very first meeting.  We want to understand your life and your situation, and provide help that results in freedom from the problems and obstacles that led you to contact us.

Our practitioners combine scientific knowledge of the brain and how it functions with an understanding of people and their needs to provide help that is effective for resolving many life problems.  We incorporate an understanding of God's love for you into our work, regardless of your relationship status, your behavior, or even your desire to avoid God completely.  This doesn't mean we have to, or even will, talk about God in our meetings - that is up to you.  What we will do is use our understanding of people from neuroscience and theology to help you as supportively, quickly, and effectively as possible.

What You Can Expect From Working with Us:

You will have an initial free consultation.  This is for you to determine if you feel comfortable working with us and for us to determine if we can help you (which we usually can!).  Hope is experienced from the very first meeting.
 se
We expect for our work together to last approximately six months.  It can be longer depending on the circumstances and your unique situation.  We will tell you if we think it will take longer than that amount of time for you to experience freedom from the things that brought us together.  We expect that you will begin experiencing relief within the first few times we meet and will do everything we can to achieve that for you.

Once your goals have been achieved you have unlimited access to us for consultations as needed.  Some examples of this include having a new concussion, experiencing unexpected stress or life crisis, children struggling with something new, etc.  In most cases a phone call will resolve the problem, but you may need to come back in for a few additional sessions.

We are very effective in solving a wide range of problems that interfere with people's lives, including the following:

 Brain and Cognitive Problems:

  • Attention/Concentration difficulties for children, teenagers and adults
  • Difficulties finding the word you want to use, even when you know you know the word
  • Memory problems
  • Learning difficulties
  • Autism in children, adolescents, and adults
  • Speech and language problems
Emotional Problems:

  • Anxiety
  • Panic attacks
  • Depression
  • Irritability/Frustration/Anger
  • Emotional numbness
  • Stress and feeling overwhelmed
Physical Problems:
  • Headaches
  • Ear ringing (Tinnitus)
  • Pressure in your head
  • Sleep problems
  • Neuropathy
  • Balance problems
  • Loss of appetite
  • Physical complaints that "nobody can figure out"
Addictions:
  • Alcohol and/or drug addiction
  • Prescription drug addiction
  • Pornography addiction
  • Sex addiction
  • Eating disorders
Behavior Problems:
  • Children's disobedience
  • "Laziness"
  •  Marital or relational unfaithfulness
  • Law breaking
  • Criminal behavior
  • Difficulty keeping jobs
In addition to working with you individually, as needed we love to work with couples and families who are having any of the above difficulties.  We teach children and adults to communicate better, identify the real problem(s), and work together to resolve it in such a way that everybody feels loved, supported, and connected to each other.

All of our staff have specialized training in neuropsychology, neuroscience, physiology, and brain functioning, along with knowledge and training in theology and how science and faith interact.  We use this knowledge and training to assist you in resolving the problems listed above, along with other problems and difficulties you may have that weren't specifically identified.
