Peter Makadi had always been passionate and drawn to helping others see hope in their problems. After his graduation with a doctoral degree in Conflict Management and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, he has been helping people live fulfilling lives. Dr. Makadi is trained and qualified in the “Help Profession”, including teaching, counselling, pastoral, and conflict management. Peter trained and qualified as a Psychotherapist, Conflict Manager, and Pastor in the Christian faith tradition. Peter holds a B.A. in Theology and Education, a M.Div. in Pastoral Leadership, a M.A. in Counselling Psychology, and a DMin. in Conflict Management and Mediation
Peter provides an inclusive psychotherapy environment in which clients’ beliefs, culture, social beliefs, and spirituality are integrated into the counselling process. Peter Makadi offers counselling in a confidential, compassionate, non-judgmental, and safe space. Because he sees a client as a part of the solution to achieving an effective counselling outcome. Peter is a good listener, very empathetic, solution-focused, and sensitive culture-infused counsellor.
Peter Makadi is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with CRPO and a Registered Member with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Dr. Makadi has extensive experience in teaching, guidance counselling, mediation, conflict management, and pastoral counselling.

In Ontario, the practice of psychotherapy is regulated by the CRPO, and I have to go through the full registration process. In 2012, I started my professional practice in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
