Life can be brutal. It leaves us feeling stuck and alone. Therapy is about connection, a place to find support and healing, a space where you can explore honestly and feel understood. This is a judgement free place. I will greet you with a sense of curiosity and compassion, and will encourage you to approach yourself in the same manner. Your comfort and safety come before anything. Please know there's hope for healing and hope for broken relationships. I've been counselling for most of my life in various settings. It's an honor to listen to stories of pain, disillusionment and broken dreams.

As a Christian counsellor, I engage with individuals and couples from various backgrounds and traditions. We'll focus not only on problems but also explore your real strengths and resources. Establishing a relationship based on trust is fundamental to a positive counselling experience. I will work with you to help you discover your courage, resilience and inner strength as you take on the challenges before you.

Personal

My wife and I have four adult children, one daughter and three sons, three daughters-in-law and one son-in-law. And, we have beautiful grandkids that bring joy and excitement to our lives.

Experience

Pastoral Ministry in several congregations. Community counselling was an important part of my ministry and outreach to the community.

College Teaching. I served as Dean of Students and instructor on various subjects in a Christian college.

Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders. I established and conducted Cognitive Behavior Therapy groups and support groups for persons living with Depression, Bi-Polar Disorder and Anxiety Disorders.

Heartbeat Counselling. I established my private practice approximately 15 years ago
