Sandip is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#14035) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. He understands that your time is valuable and offers his clients a straight forward and authentic approach.

Sandip is dedicated to helping couples and individuals improve their relationships and overall well-being. He has extensive experience in working with couples to navigate challenging times, overcome obstacles, and create a stronger, more fulfilling bond. Sandip offers individual counselling for those seeking to improve their relationship skills and communication, as well as couples counselling for those who want to work on their relationship together. He also offers premarital counselling for those who are engaged or considering marriage, to help them build a strong foundation for their future together.

Sandip also specializes in working with adolescents, adults and families that are experiencing issues and challenges of everyday life. He works with clients that have been impacted by anxiety, trauma, conflict, addiction and depression.

Sandip has 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents and families in the Kamloops/Thompson School District. This includes extensive training in the areas of parent/youth conflicts, teen anxiety, substance abuse, and emotional regulation. He will provide you with practical strategies in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Sandip has specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) that has been proven effective for the treatment of trauma and many other mental health problems. Extensive research indicates that EMDR can effectively resolve trauma at a much faster rate than traditional therapies.

Sandip has worked extensively with adolescents and adults from a variety of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, including clients from non-majority populations (eg. immigrants, refugees, individuals with disabilities, LGBTQ, etc.). He believes that cultural-awareness is important in building a therapeutic relationship with his clients. Sandip is available to provide sessions in Punjabi and Hindi for clients who feel more comfortable in their respective languages.

One of the most difficult decisions that many of us struggle with is reaching out for help. Sandip will provide you with practical strategies in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. He has a flexible schedule and can accommodate sessions on evenings and weekends. Sandip is currently accepting new clients.
