Sandip is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#14035) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. He obtained his Masters of Education in Counselling degree through Thompson Rivers University and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of British Columbia.

Sandip specializes in working with children, adolescents, adults and families that are experiencing issues and challenges of everyday life. He works with clients that have been impacted by anxiety, trauma, conflict, addiction and depression. Sandip also focuses on couples/marriage counselling. He works with couples that are disconnected in their relationships and want to re-establish the communication and respect that currently feels forgotten.

Sandip has over 16 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities. He also has experience working with individuals with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and Autism. In his practice, you will explore and create goals that are relevant to your journey.

Sandip is currently a teacher in the Kamloops/Thompson School District and has extensive experience working with children, youth and adults that display social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.

Sandip has vast knowledge working with individuals and couples from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. He believes that cultural-awareness is important in building a therapeutic relationship with his clients. Sandip is available to provide sessions in Punjabi and Hindi for clients who feel more comfortable in their respective languages.

Sandip is an approved service provider for: Pacific Blue Cross, Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP), First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), Green Shield Canada, Shepell FGI, ICBC, Great West Life, Sun Life and Manulife. Many plans provide coverage for sessions with counsellors that hold the RCC designation.
