You may be seeking therapy for many reasons. You could be feeling stuck and exhausted. You may be seeking a more fulfilling life and are not sure how to move forward. You may be experiencing a constant state of worry, or feeling your energy is depleted. You may be struggling to keep up with your daily tasks. You may feel that life should feel different, that you should feel a of meaning or purpose, and you’re scared of failing or being misunderstood. I know how this can feel, and if you’re willing, I would like to help guide you through it.

I have experienced my own struggles through childhood and adolescence, battling undiagnosed ADHD, depression, anxiety and OCD. I also experienced abuse and struggled to accept my own sexuality in a difficult religious environment. My response to these challenges was unhealthy, developing many coping mechanisms during this time. Once I started to willingly participate in my personal healing, my life changed. I felt that after treading water for so many years someone had finally thrown me a life raft.

My healing journey led me to pursue graduate studies in psychotherapy and spiritual care. As a therapist, helping and guiding others through their own healing journeys has become my purpose, my calling, my joy.

As a therapist my approach is rooted by the principles of trust, collaboration, safety, and empowerment. I draw on psychodynamic, narrative and solution focused approaches. In our sessions, we will reflect on your past experience and the impact they have on your present emotions, throughs, and behaviours. Our goal in externalizing any presenting challenges is to gain a different perspective, helping you feel empowered in order to take control of your own story and narrative. I support individuals and couples navigating a variety of areas of focus that can be found below in my profile.

I offer free 15-minute consultation to ensure you feel I am a good fit for your journey. I look forward to connecting with you soon.
