This is not the relationship you wanted. You feel disconnected, misunderstood, and alone. You may find yourself avoiding conversations because your partner won't truly hear you. Worries and resentment may be filling your mind, and you're wondering if things will ever improve. Life transitions like parenting, aging, caregiving, or grief may be further straining your relationship.
With over 20 years of experience supporting people, I provide a compassionate space where you can speak openly about what you are going through. My approach focuses on using evidence-based therapy to help you recognize unhelpful patterns, better understand yourself and your relationships, and develop practical skills for creating meaningful change.
You don't need to manage this alone. Therapy with me is a safe, supportive space to discuss your concerns without judgement. Together, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing, identify what may be keeping you stuck, and work towards goals that are important to you. I will work to create an environment where you feel heard and respected so you can be open about your experiences.
Approaches: For couples therapy, I am trained in both Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and the Gottman Method. Both approaches are evidence-based forms of therapy to help support healthier relationships.
- EFCT is one of the most well-researched and effective approaches to couples therapy. It helps couples identify and change negative patterns that are keeping them stuck. We’ll focus on strengthening emotional connection, improving communication, and rebuilding trust.
- Gottman Method emphasizes practical tools to improve communication, manage conflict, and strengthen intimacy.
In my work with individuals, I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy. These approaches support you in understanding your thoughts and feelings while working to help you reconnect with your values and strengths.
Whether you are struggling with difficult emotions, anxiety, relationship challenges or major life changes, therapy can provide an opportunity for reflection, healing, and meaningful change. My goal is to support you in developing greater resilience and confidence as you navigate the challenges you’re facing.
