Office and Technology

I am located at the Good Life Center for Mental Health in Cranford, NJ.
My partner and I created the Center recognizing the importance of ease, comfort and innovation in service delivery. There is off-street parking and our facility is handicap accessible. We designed our office to create an inviting and relaxing atmosphere complete with a range of healthy refreshments, WIFI and a technology charging station. Our practice has a user-friendly online portal for existing clients to schedule their appointments and communicate with their therapist via secure messaging. Our clients can receive appointment reminders by email, phone and text. Secure video sessions are also available when clients are unable to attend their face-to-face sessions.

Education and Professional Experience
I am a licensed clinical social worker - New Jersey License #44SC04613000, and I have been providing mental health services for over 25 years. I earned my master’s degree in social work from Rutgers University and completed my clinical internships at Trinitas Regional Medical Center and Bayonne Community Mental Health Center. I have held positions at hospitals and community mental health centers where I provided mental health services to address a wide variety of mental health concerns. I have extensive experience working in individual, group and family therapy to adolescents and adults. I have assisted clients suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder and body focus repetitive disorders, self–defeating habits and bereavement.

I am fortunate to be able to provide bilingual Spanish services and recognize the impact of multicultural issues in mental health functioning. I have served as a consultant to organizations providing bilingual parent training workshops to Spanish speaking populations. I specialized in working with clients who suffer from mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties. I utilize a goal-oriented and collaborative approach integrating cognitive - behavioral methods with other empirically sound strategies to tailor treatment to address my clients’ individual needs.

I am trained in EMDR (levels I and II) and I am a Level 3 Certified in TEAM Therapist.
