Susan Glaser is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Her goal is to support individuals, couples, and families in healing and resolving difficulties. If you are experiencing stress, depression, or anxiety due to life experiences, a change in circumstances, or ongoing relationship problems, Susan Glaser has the expertise to assist you in finding a better path forward. She is trained to identify the underlying issues and find effective means for positive change.
 As a specialist in children and families, Susan Glaser welcomes all families, including those with young children, with whom she works in close consultation with their parents. She has successfully treated adolescent depression and anxiety, grief, impact of divorce, trauma, family conflict, and behavioral issues in children.

Susan Glaser also specializes in working with adoptive families. She has the expertise to assist with the special aspects of raising an adoptive child, and unique concerns of adult adoptees. Susan Glaser uses an integrative approach in her practice to find the most effective means for healing. She is trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychodynamic techniques. Where appropriate, she also uses attachment therapy, as well as affect regulation, and attunement techniques. She is experienced with trauma, and employs brainspotting, a neuro-visual intervention, to effectively process traumatic life events. She uses play therapy with younger children.
Susan Glaser has been a practicing psychotherapist for six years, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She graduated with a master’s degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick in 2012, where she became a member of the Phi Alpha Honor Society. She has significant training in the methodologies of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic interventions, Brainspotting for trauma processing, and Attachment therapy. She holds the Adoption Certificate from Rutgers University, as well as a certificate in Clinical Supervision.  

Susan Glaser charges a flat fee of $175/hour. She will provide a statement that can be submitted to your insurance company. On a case-by-case basis, she will use a sliding scale when financially necessary for families.
