Do you feel anxious and overwhelmed? Is your teen struggling? Do you want to improve your relationships? Learning to manage anxiety can help you move through the days with increased confidence and greater calm. Counseling can help you learn to manage worry and overwhelming feelings. I enjoy helping individuals, couples, and teens to reconnect with themselves and their loved ones.
If your relationship could use some support during difficult times, I understand and want to help.  I would be honored to respectfully help you in creating practical life changes.
My clients describe me as understanding, genuine, compassionate, and experienced. I encourage and empower each of my clients to understand and know how they hold the power to make changes in their own lives. We can identify and build upon your strengths, in the safety of a nurturing, nonjudgmental, and warm environment in our sessions. I value open communication with all of my clients and I work to empower them to set their own goals and communicate any of their needs during our sessions. Many people often find themselves experiencing difficulty overcoming life's challenges. You deserve support and a grounding anchor during difficult transitional times, and during times of growth and change.
I specialize in working with people who struggle with the following areas: couples counseling and relationship concerns (communication, conflict, trust), anxiety, stress and social anxiety, depression, past trauma, reproductive issues as well as post-partum adjustment, increasing self-esteem, parenting support during difficult family times, separation and divorce support, managing loss and grief, holistic wellness and health, women's concerns, issues of aging, gender identity development and life transitions.

My therapy style is relational, viewing people through the lens of attachment. I include John Gottman's work, EFT, CBT, trauma informed care, and mindfulness in my efforts to support the needs of my clients. My overall approach is generally holistic, as my belief is that emotional wellness results from balance and health in many of life's domains. Together we can look at the different areas of wellness in your life that can support your personal growth.
Counseling can help you to make room for more peace and connection in your life.  A healthier and loving relationship with yourself and your loved ones is possible. If you are interested in setting up an appointment with me I have openings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the afternoons and in early evening. I will look forward to meeting you!
