Tania Punjabi Suarez has an interesting journey to becoming a therapist. She previously had a successful 10+ year career in marketing and advertising and worked at major advertising agencies on Madison Avenue in New York City. However, with her two B.S. degrees in Communication and Psychology, she always felt a passion toward psychology and helping others. She could no longer ignore this interest and started on a path toward getting her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from the Fordham Graduate School of Education in New York City. Tania Punjabi Suarez, MSEd, LPC, LMHC, NCC also dedicates her time to facilitating various support groups at Gilda’s Club, a Cancer Support Community, and conducts individual therapy at a community clinic, serving multicultural populations that don’t always have access to mental health care.
