Being down to earth and approachable are things I hope to provide to my clients. I hope to assist you in finding tools to feel better so you can find your "best" life. Usually, I am able to find time for new clients within 48 hours and can accommodate many schedules. I am happy to consult with you to see if I am the right therapist for you.

Sometimes stress, abuse or other issues seem to be holding us back from the things we feel are important, or keep us from enjoying life to the fullest. I would like to help you to use your strengths and gifts to your own benefit. Helping others to feel pride in the way they react and respond in situations is something many clients are interested in.  I want to help you get there!

I am an open minded, honest person committed to working with each client. I see the beauty and strength in different people and hope to help you see what your uniqueness can add to your world. I am able to offer you flexibility, and a convenient location so you can fit therapy into your busy life. I am focused on helping you achieve your goals, so that you can learn to enjoy your life.  I also truly enjoy my work!  I am happy to have the opportunity to meet new people, and hopefully help them to feel stronger and more in control of their lives.

For some of us, the relationship we had growing up with parents or caregivers changed the way we interpret our surroundings.  Having an opportunity to sort this out and re-evaluate old messages helps us to move forward in a healthier way. Past trauma, no matter what type, is another factor that can alter the way we go forward in this world.  Having a therapist allows you to look at these pieces of your past, while staying safely in the present!

I have been a therapist since 2005.  I attended  Bellevue University in Nebraska for my graduate degrees; receiving my Masters in Human Service in 2005 and my Masters in Clinical Counseling in 2011.   I maintain credentials as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional , an intensive program requiring continued training in new trauma focused treatments and supports. I am also proud to be a member of the National Certified Counselor (NCC) program and am a member in the American Counseling Association.
