Addiction, Anxiety, Anger, and Trauma

Currently offering remote therapy over face-to-face video conferencing (Zoom)

Sometimes life flips upside down. A relationship cracks, stress ramps up, and our mental health starts slipping - and suddenly everything feels harder than it should.

We get stuck replaying the past and worrying about the future, while feeling unable to control our reactions in the moment. Emotions like anxiety, anger, numbness, or overwhelm can swing fast and hit hard, and the ways we cope can end up making things worse. We try to hold it together, but inside it feels messy and exhausting. Over time, this starts to hurt our close relationships… and life starts to feel like something we’re just trying to get through.

I’m Tim, and I help change-motivated people move out of struggle and back into lives well-lived. I work with warmth, directness, and a touch of humor, helping clients set meaningful goals, calm big emotions, and build skills that support real, lasting change.

What you can expect when working with me

• A focused, results-oriented approach designed to help you move forward efficiently, without spending years in therapy
• Practical skills and tools to help you feel calmer, more grounded, and more in control of your emotions and reactions
• Accountability and structure so progress continues between sessions and old patterns do not quietly creep back in
• A clear understanding of what is going wrong and why, so change happens at the root, not just the surface
• Someone to stand with you through the dark times (and the lighter ones too)

I’ve been through some very dark places myself - including trauma, substance use, and serious mental health struggles… so I know how overwhelming life can get. I also know that with the right support, honest effort, and the right skills, real change can happen.

That lived experience shapes how I work as a therapist. I bring a steady, understanding presence, while also being practical and direct when things feel stuck. I don’t see my role as fixing people - my job is to help you connect with who you are underneath the noise, and support you in building a life you can feel proud of.
