Valley Behavioral Health System in Fort Smith, Arkansas, offers inpatient and outpatient care for children, adolescents, and adults who are seeking support for behavioral disorders, memory disorders, mental health disorders, and mood disorders. Our treatment center’s inpatient programs relieve situations that have put our patients in crisis and provide the support and therapies needed to manage the symptoms of mental health disorders. The child and adolescent inpatient treatment centers at Valley Behavioral Health System provide children age 11 and younger and adolescents ages 12-17 with the safety and structure necessary to begin the healing process for our patients and their families. Through our acute inpatient program, patients who are seeking support and help receive continuous supervision and customized treatment plans designed by a multidisciplinary team of professional providers. Children and adolescents who are managing the symptoms of behavioral and mental health disorders can also benefit from our subacute inpatient care, which bridges the gap between acute care and outpatient programs. Our child and adolescent inpatient programs include behavioral, individual, group, and family therapies; various therapeutic approaches; and medication as needed. Adults who are feeling overwhelmed by the symptoms of behavioral or mental health disorders may choose an acute inpatient program at Valley Behavioral Health System to find stability while in crisis or to manage ongoing concerns. Our patients benefit from individual, group, family, and recreational therapies; private rooms; and a safe, comfortable environment. Men and women age 18 and older may instead opt for our partial hospitalization program (PHP), which offers the same level of care included in our inpatient program with the ability to return home at night. Our PHP features a unique combination of therapies and medication management and offers a personalized treatment plan and a care curriculum that spans five hours a day, five days a week. Adults who are transitioning out of our inpatient or PHP services or who simply need more support than traditional outpatient care provides may choose Valley Behavioral Health System’s intensive outpatient program (IOP). The IOP offers patients more flexibility than the PHP. Patients in our IOP receive customized care that works with their schedule, provided in either morning or afternoon sessions three to five days a week. In addition to the wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, Valley Behavioral Health System also features outpatient mental healthcare for adolescent, adult, and senior patients, including support for patients who are suffering from symptoms of memory disorders and mood disorders. Valley Behavioral Health System in Fort Smith, Arkansas, is a premier provider of support and care for patients who have mental health and behavioral health concerns. Each patient benefits from our comprehensive assessments, which are offered on-site or via our mobile assessment services anytime, day or night. After their assessment, patients receive an individualized treatment plan that utilizes Valley Behavioral Health System’s multidisciplinary team. Through the work of our therapists, social workers, nurse practitioners, therapeutic recreation specialists, and psychiatric nurses, we offer multiple techniques to support each patient’s individual needs. Every patient at our mental health treatment center receives the attention, care, and respect they deserve as they work to develop the skills they need to manage the symptoms of behavioral or mental health disorders.
