Karen LeVasseur, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I work with preschool aged children, as young as 3 years old. I support my young clients in learning to calm their feelings, make appropriate choices with their behavior, improve social skills and explore trauma, anger, anxiety, fear and loss; all through play. Play therapy is driven by the child's choices and needs and is very effective in helping children to improve in many areas of their lives. I often include parents in the last 15 minutes of the session for filial (family) play to strengthen the child-parent relationship and provide an additional layer of support. It is fun for everyone!
