When clients ask for counseling within a Christian framework, I use the Bible as a resource to help clients overcome their emotional and psychological struggles in conjunction with evidenced-based therapy models, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy. After a couple of sessions, Clients usually report having a better understanding of God's love and grace, as well as gaining real tools they can use to help them through their life challenge. Clients appreciate my warm, nonjudgmental, yet direct approach in therapy. Please feel free to visit www.claritypsych.com for more information.

13180 Leslie Road, Ste. 2, Meadville, Pennsylvania 16335
Many Christians come to Mercy House because they have a faith approach to life. They don't want someone to brush that aside. Each of our 8 therapist are Christians. They will integrate Christian principals into your counseling, will respect your principals and encourage faith as a tool to help you heal. We understand that people are mind/body/spirit and to leave our "spiritual self" unaddressed is lop-sided counseling. It's like a 3 legged stool trying to stand on two legs. So feel free to discuss this area with your counselor. We are probably the only center that has a monthly staff training on spirituality integration.
