Do you feel like your family has gotten out of control and you do not know what to do about it? Is there a lack of communication, anger, or disrespect between family members? Allow me to provide a space of freedom where you and your family can come to explore struggles and find obtainable solutions. There will be no finger pointing or blame, just me shedding light on perspectives maybe not seen.

The family is made up of individuals. Yet the family itself is a unit, an organism, a system of moving parts. Every member is a moving part in the whole of the family. When one moving part stops moving or moves in an entirely different direction, the family unit is affected. For this reason, it is important when working with families that I ideally work with all members of the family. I bring in family members to counseling sessions individually, sometimes in pairs, sometimes all together. I help families learn to communicate and interact in a way that is harmonious, respectful and effective.

No safer place. No better time. Because family is not an organization but an organism, when one part is hurting or out of sorts, the entire organism is affected. It's easy to play the blame game, and attempt to segment off a family member's issue from the lives of the others. Like it or not, we are all connected, and all have a part in the health and solution of the problem or trouble. I can help you come together to use the collective resources of each family member to benefit the whole, and help with the healing. Family is perhaps the greatest shaper of our identity and values, and therefore is worth the investment and priority to keep it as healthy and vibrant as possible.
