Waxahachie is a small city located in central Texas, just south of Dallas. The city was established in 1850 as the seat of Ellis County. The Waxahachie Junior Service League has been in operation since 1952. The organization gathers volunteers to assist with social, cultural, economic, educational, and civic matters within the community. Some of the programs which they put together include art appreciation, C.P.R. classes, and the delivering of Mobile Meals.
