I have been a Christian Counseling for more than 10 years working with women and family issues. It is my belief that only a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, based solely upon His word and lead by His Spirit can we live out the abundant life He has promised. I feel honored to be apart of the process of helping others find peace, comfort, strength and guidance on their journey toward healing.

Gateway is a Christian based counseling center. That does not mean we don't see clients who don't have a faith basis to their life - we do. It also does not only mean that our counselors are Christian, although they are. What it does mean is that we integrate biblical principles with psychological truth. It means we will not give counsel that violates scriptural truth. Jesus said ,"you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free." Freedom from their emotional pain is what people are looking for and only the truth accomplishes that. There is a big difference between a center where the counselors are Christians and a Christian counseling center.

Faith does not shield us from life’s challenges. Even as Christians, we may face seasons of emotional struggle, illness, grief, or relationship pain. My goal in Christian counseling is to walk with you through these difficulties in a way that strengthens your faith and reminds you of the hope and purpose God has for your life. While following Christ in today’s world can feel overwhelming at times, I believe that God always provides a path forward. Together, we can seek healing, peace, and restoration through both sound therapeutic practice and the sustaining truth of God’s Word.

While most Christian Counselors pride themselves on how many Scriptural passages they can recite and how many links they can make from the Bible to psychological disorders, the Christian-centric work of Grey Matters International, Inc.is grounded in one principle: truth. For us, the work is more about truth and transparency of Christ's message and working on the natural laws of accountability and decision making that evolves from that. If one honors God's natural laws of reaping and sowing around the decisions one makes, one is indeed living Scripture to its fullest.
