While I have very strong beliefs for my Christian faith, I don't presume that we have the same belief system. As a Christian psychiatrist, my unique approach to treatment involves adding a Biblical foundation and a Christian framework to the services I provide. I am a certified Biblical counselor and an active member of The American Association of Christian Counselors. As a Christian physician, I understand how devastating the impact mental disorders can have on patients and their families. I also know that mental disorders are real medical conditions that can affect anyone, including Christians. You are not alone. There is hope. We are here to help.

On separate occasions Christ is referred to as The Great Physician and The Wonderful Counselor. I believe that no healing is possible without Him. I'm thankful that God has given incredible skill and knowledge to the men and women whom we seek when we have physical and/or emotional illnesses. I support them completely. In my practice, whether I'm counseling with a couple who's marriage is in trouble, or an individual suffering with an anxiety disorder, I follow prescribed standards of sound mental health therapy, but I'm always careful that I remain true to Christian principles with any counsel I give.
