I'm a Christian familiar with the Bible and would love to use scripture and spirituality to help you pursue the things that are meaningful in your life.

My counseling values are based on Christian principles. The level at which this comes into a counseling relationship is up to the individual or family and how important it is to them to the process. This is often crucial in looking at an individual or family's support level and their connection to their faith community. I worked in a Christian Counseling Center from 2007-2011 and feel comfortable relating to families who are looking for faith-based counseling.

Christian counseling is so important because we can't separate our faith from who we are or how we want to live in relationship. Our faith deeply affects how we think and how we are in relationship with others, exactly what we need help with in counseling! When we look for guidance to help us through those difficult times in life, we want to talk to someone who not only shares an understanding of how important this is to us, but will also guide us on a path that is in line with our beliefs. From individual issues with spirituality to faith-based couples and family counseling, my paradigm and approach is based on the Bible. My faith is deep, I've been a CHRISTian for 41 years!

I am trained to integrate Christian counseling into sessions for those who want it. It is part of our assessment, and for Christian clients, a very significant part of who they are. Your Christian values and faith will be held in the highest regard and will be respected and honored. I will support you in every way I can to maximize your commitment to your belief system and encourage your walk with God. Or if you have doubts and want to explore them, I work to create a safe place to ask questions and express frustrations. Either way, you will feel that you have made progress in finding answers or, at least, understand more fully what your questions are.
