I work primarily with "process addictions" rather than substance addictions. Process addictions involve co-dependency/co-addiction, addictive use of work, sex, relationships, eating, television, computer use, etc. Almost any process can be used to avoid pain and pursue pleasure and distract us from living a balanced life. In 30 years, I have worked with many people who have come to understand how they have looked for love in all the wrong places and made beneficial changes in their lives as a result.

At Solutions we work with many different types of addictions, alcoholism, drug addiction, opioid abuse, cocaine and prescription addictions as well as process addictions such as gambling, sex and food. We are abstinence based model. Our goal is to help eliminate self destructive behaviors and to address the underlying core issues and triggers so that one negative behavior is not replaced with another. While our program is not based on the 12-steps, clients are encouraged to attend outside meetings such as AA, NA, Refuge Recovery, SMART Recovery, Celebrate Recovery,-Co-dependency anonymous etc.
