I completed my training at Ashland Seminary and am happy to incorporate your Christian faith into the counseling process. It is not my job to judge or condemn anyone but I have found the most meaningful and transforming work happens when we incorporate our Christian faith. I will share with you my understanding of what the Bible teaches regarding any specific issues you have and how my personal faith impacts my perspective and my walk to help you ask and find answers to the meaningful questions.

I am passionate about providing Christian Counseling as an option for my clients that would like to bring the Christian perspective into counseling. I have experience in a variety of different church and ministry settings with children, teenagers, and adults. I counsel from a balanced approach of applying the Christian perspective to professional theories for those clients who request it.

My own beliefs are based in the God of the Bible. I am non-denominational. I believe in Christ's death and resurrection and and that as a result we have forgiveness and grace. I believe in the presence of the Holy Spirit who is the presence of God within us. The Bible and regular prayer is an important part of my life. It inspires me and leads me in the decisions that I make in life. I will never impose my individual beliefs on you. Instead I will explore your own individual spiritual beliefs and where appropriate for you include those beliefs as part of your therapy process.
