We are a staff of christian counselors and use the Bible as our guide in our daily lives as well as with our clients. We believe that God is the Creator of all things and has a special plan for each person, each marriage and each family. Many times we use examples and verses from the Bible to help a client learn how to work through their problems and am pleased to pray with a client if they desire.

My counseling approach combines proven clinical methodology with sound Scriptural principles. The Bible contains the basic elements of modern cognitive-behavioral approaches, and I find that, the more I read the Scripture with a counselor's eye, the more I see what a great therapist Jesus is! My clients benefit from my training in Christian counseling, as we incorporate spiritual tools such as Scripture, prayer, and meditation into the healing process. As my clients and I meet together, God is present, providing direction, power, and His healing touch to the work that we do.

While most Christian Counselors pride themselves on how many Scriptural passages they can recite and how many links they can make from the Bible to psychological disorders, the Christian-centric work of Grey Matters International, Inc.is grounded in one principle: truth. It is important to have a counselor who shares your values. I have been a student of the Bible my whole life and I am a faithful member of my congregation. I understand God to be a being full of love and joy. I believe that spirituality is an important but often neglected part of who we are.
