My name is Heather and I am a Christian that counsels. This makes me different from other Christian counselors. Because I know that not all Christians believe the same things, I aid you in using your Christian beliefs to find Godly solutions to your concerns. I strive to create a safe Christian fellowship with you that is without judgment or persecution. It is not my goal to have you believe in the same manner in which I believe but to aid you in living by the beliefs in which you hold.

When people of faith claim a connection to their God, they benefit from using a counselor that can frame their struggles in words that are reflected in their faith. With an understanding that our lives fall under a Creator they are connected to, it is important that the counseling process acknowledge, support and guide in light of this connection. I have been ordained as Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). I trained at both Perkins School of Theology (at SMU) and Amberton University. My counseling practice is a "Validated Ministry" within Grace Presbytery.
