I have a warm and non-judgmental approach that provides an opportunity to address both short and long term goals, crisis situations, and long-term underlying issues. I help my clients explore their past and how it is showing up in their present. My approach is collaborative and at the pace of the client.

I have a passion for working with all races, cultures and orientations. I incorporate guided imagery, mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and art therapy techniques into my sessions. My goal is to help individuals, couples, and families to release their traumas without overwhelming them, to help them find healthier ways of communicating, and to regain the ability to live with themselves as well as others.

Working with those struggling after trauma led me to become EMDR Trained (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CRM Trained (Comprehensive Resource Model), BSP Certified (Brainspotting) and Heart Centered Therapy (HCT) trained. My work focuses on major issues including adolescents in crisis, attachment, abandonment, grief and loss, life transition, separation/divorce, couples and families in crisis, intimacy issues, anxiety and depression and spirituality to name a few.

Adolescents (ages 10 and up):

Adolescents impacted by violence and neglect:

“Adolescents affected by neglect, abuse and/or a violent environment need a safe place to process and clear themselves of their traumas. I provide that safe place for them.”
