I’m regularly anxious
and experience panic attacks.
feel sad, empty, and stuck in my life; I no longer
enjoy the things that I used to.
I’m really uncomfortable
in social situations –I avoid them when I can. My fears get in
the way of me living my life.
experienced a trauma or abuse that I have not been able to
to open up and let myself love out of fear of being hurt,
abandoned, or rejected.
uncomfortable feelings with alcohol/drugs/food/sex/relationships,
I lack confidence
and self-esteem – it’s difficult to assert or stand up
, referred to as “traumas,” are often the underlying source of the above issues.
Traumatic experiences can include significant
events, such as abuse, grief/loss, emotional pain, significant separations,
accidents, violence, disasters, and injuries. Or, trauma can refer to more subtle, but ongoing patterns, such as
feeling criticized, humiliated, abandoned, betrayed, shamed, experiencing
family conflict, or growing up with an alcoholic or addict.
There are 3 key
elements to my approach:
very effective trauma processing techniques
to resolve the emotional pain that continues to trigger your anxiety,
depression, and relationship problems.
the negative thinking that is a
significant source of your anxiety, depression, and relationship problems.
new skills to help you manage and
overcome the symptoms of anxiety, depression, and relationship problems.
how good you will feel
when you no longer have to spend energy on past
