Stacey Gorlicky is a certified psychotherapist, addictions counselor, spiritual transformation coach, and former host of the live, call in show, Mind Matters on Rogers TV. She works with individuals, couples and families, and maintains a private practice in the the Toronto area.
Her approach to healing is naturalistic, spiritual, wide-ranging and eclectic, combining both traditional and the newest cutting-edge methods. While providing support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. Stacey is a passionate spokesperson for mental health issues. Her skills and experience have led her to be the subject of numerous print articles, television and web based media spots, focusing on body image, sexuality, and addiction.
Stacey is now releasing her first book, a project close to her heart as it tells the story of her personal and inspiring experience with recovering addictions while providing readers with an enlightened realizable approach to recovery, called "Food, Sex & You".
In 2011 Stacey, demonstrated her personal mettle by climbing "Mount Kilimanjaro" in Africa to help raise $500,000 to help build Markham Stouffville's mental health facility for children and adolescents. For the achievement she was awarded a citation by the mayor of Markham.
