Welcome. Counseling is a collaborative process that leads to change through the development of new perspectives, insights, awareness and emotions.  Are you feeling stuck? Is there a sense of unrealized purpose? Is there a general feeling of unhappiness? Do you need someone to help you explore your options?
I am passionate about the counseling services I provide and honored to be a catalyst for your journey. While working with me, I trust in your ability to integrate the work we do in whatever way will best support your growth and healing. I believe in gently challenging my clients when it is needed and creating a responsible and accountable environment.

It is my goal to offer a collaborative and compassionate experience to meet your individual needs.

My experience includes helping clients with various topics such as couples and marriage counseling, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress management, communication issues, relationship and family issues, terminal illness, loss and grief, depression and mood disorders.

I provide a safe, empathic, supportive counseling environment free of judgment where clients are invited to openly discuss concerns and learn more about themselves in order to become empowered, grow emotionally, gain self-awareness, resolve past issues, and learn the skills necessary to create a fulfilling life. My eclectic therapy approach is collaborative, insight-oriented, integrative and holistic. Clients feel heard, understood and supported. I provide counseling services to all populations in a respectful manner and have additional training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I also regularly use EMDR Therapy for a variety of issues.

I have worked in diverse mental health settings, including community agencies, psychiatric offices, hospices, hospitals, and private practices. I am a National Certified Counselor, Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida, Qualified Supervisor for Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns, Certified Prepare/Enrich Program Facilitator and also Certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. I continued on at Rollins, earning a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling.
