I have been trained in school to integrate Christianity and beliefs into counseling. I strongly believe that those who believe should be able to find a place where they feel safe to bring up their faith and integrate their lifestyle into their counseling sessions without fear of being judged. I work from the framework of a Christian perspective and welcome people to bring in theological and purpose driven questions.

As an experienced Christian Counselor and ordained pastor, over the last 15 years I’ve been blessed to help hundreds of men find hope and healing using both psychological and Biblical principles. I believe that Christ is the ultimate source of hope and healing in this life. But I also believe that he’s given us the gift of rational minds, able to discern scientific and psychological truths built into the fabric of His amazing creation. My approach is grounded firmly in Scripture, but I don’t use Scripture as a weapon. You don’t need more guilt, but rather, a reminder of God’s promises and a compassionate guide to support you.

I believe the Holy Spirit is the intangible factor that helps clients change. Yet there are blockages we all experience. I want to be Jesus' hands and feet to help clients heal, grow, and become the people God created them to be. I will not judge anyone who comes to see me, but I do believe that I am called to hold people accountable for their mistakes in order to help them experience freedom.

As a Christian and a seminary trained therapist, I can bring a faith framework to the entire counseling and therapy experience. He majored in religion at Baylor University, attended Seminary in 1992, and even earned his Master degree in Counseling from Colorado Christian University, where he later served as adjunct faculty.
