Both of my parents were ministers when I was growing up. Can I say that I am a "hard-core Christian"? No. But what I can say is that I am familiar with the bible, believe in it's teachings, and can associate the bible with many other religious texts. Faith is a motivator for many of my clients and if that's the way you make sense of the world, then that's the direction I will take on our journey together. "Split a piece of wood, and I am there. Christian/Jewish Therapy: I've integrated my previous knowledge from a decade of Hebrew School and [independent] studies of Christianity, with the principles taught by a christian counselor I studied under @ UCONN. I took numerous courses with him, & continued to realize how I could help people of faiths. Later in grad school I did my 1,000 hour internship at St. Francis, supervised by a religious Christian. Finally, I spent years as an intern, then resident, at Catholic Charities with numerous successes.
