I do not offer detox services. However, I do offer one-on-one supportive outpatient therapy and individual IOP in a private atmosphere that encourages each client to move to the next-lower level of support and regain personal autonomy. Frequently, I see clients who do not wish to participate in 12-step programs. For them, I create individualized programs based on the principles of SMART Recovery and Life Ring Recovery, which address underlying problems, such as anger. In addition, I am a U.S. Dept. of Transportation Certified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP).

Recovery is hard work, and the work doesn't stop once treatment ends. I support individuals in recovery from addiction who are committed to maintaining sobriety and building a life that actually feels worth living. Using EMDR and DBT, we'll address the underlying experiences that fueled the addiction, strengthen your emotional regulation skills, and develop a solid relapse prevention plan that holds up when things get hard. Personal accountability, long-term wellbeing, and genuine growth are at the center of this work. Please note that I work with individuals in recovery, not those actively in the throes of addiction.

Nathan has extensive experience in the field of addiction and trauma recovery and has completed training for certification as a Certified Trauma Therapist. He also has personal experience with combating addiction and trauma together as a multiplied force, and processing the trauma that underlies and fuels addiction. He will provide support in a safe and encouraging environment, and will utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to your specific needs in order to help you claim progress in your efforts to heal and recover from addiction and trauma.
