We approach the treatment of mental Illness by encouraging the exploration of unresolved and deeply rooted conflicts, often of an unconscious that may lead the person to behave in rigid and self-defeating ways, by questioning the veracity and effectiveness of distorted ways of thinking and perceiving the world and by empowering the person to modify behaviors that perpetuate psychopathology and emotional disturbance. We also include life-coaching techniques to help people set attainable goals based on personal values, abilities and interests.

The issues we deal with throughout our lives are based in a myriad of beliefs that evolved as a result of childhood experiences. As a psychotherapist, I guide you into an exploration of the beliefs and actions that create limitations and blocks to healthy relationships with ourselves and others. If you have a belief that says "I'm not good enough" you will create, unconsciously, situations and relationships that enforce that belief.
