Anger can have devastating effects on our lives and destroy relationships. If you’re struggling with anger, you may be searching for ways to manage your feelings and behaviors. Within a supportive and non-judgmental therapeutic space, I will help you identify the root causes of your anger. At the same time, I will help you work on how to manage your anger, recognize what triggers your anger, find healthier ways to express your emotions, and better resolve problems and communicate more effectively.

I use a pyscho educational approach with working with anger management. In that I teach about anger being a secondary emotion that often protects hurt and fear. We go through the anger cycle and ways to change that cycle. The goal is help clients move from destructive behaviors to constructive communication and behaviors. A typical anger management process takes four to six sessions.
