I am an Illinois licensed clinical psychologist. While I have had experience addressing a wide variety of issues, I specialize in the treatment of Anxiety & Stress Disorders, Couples and Relationship counseling and Trauma and abuse. My approach is holistic and integrative uniting a number of traditional and non-traditional treatment methods for the sake of meeting a broader range of challenges. The best approach as a psychologist when counseling depends on the client and their specific needs, but Cognitive Behavioral disposition is usually considered We mainly focus on identifying and modifying negative thought patterns and behaviors, making it suitable for a broad range of mental health concerns. This is based on different approaches which include biological, psychodynamic, behavioural, cognitive and humanistic in which each approach explains human behavior differently. We concentrate on Active listening: by attending to the client's words and emotions.

As a Psychologist I integrate and believe we are whole and complete and that often things we struggle with are current challenges often linked to past hurts or unmet needs from earlier in life.
