Lots of us are numbing out our lives, choosing compulsive, trancelike activities rather than dealing effectively with our feelings and life circumstances. When you are in an active addiction, you don’t realize that the addiction actually complicates your life more. People think that turning to these activities give them relief, when really addictions bring on more complications. I have training and experience with all types of addiction, and can help you to get free from this cycle of self-destructive behavior and be present in your life.

We use a client centered approach, supplementing individual therapy with family treatment and group therapy as appropriate. We address substance abuse and other addictions, and have therapists who have completed certificates in sexual health. We are in the process of becoming certified for gambling addiction treatment through the State of Michigan. For opiate and other substance addictions, we work closely with a medical doctor who treats addictions. We have offered alternatives to traditional Intensive Outpatient Programs, creating individualized intensive treatment programs utilizing individual, family and group treatment.
