Many addictions are driven by the core emotion of shame. Deep shame is not guilt but a sense that "I don't deserve to be here on this planet." Shame usually starts very early in life, often unintended by our caregivers, but never the less, it can lead to destructive behaviors. I am a certified Heart Centered Hypnotherapist, which can help find the root of the shame, change the conclusion, and find healing.

The brain heals. The feelings of no joy pass. We will work to steady you until that time. It happens over months...many, many months. But it happens. We will find the hope to keep you going, the relationships that keep you getting better, ways to avoid triggers, any explore medical interventions that may help. Remember, addictions are a neurological problem, not a moral one.
