Grief can take many forms with one of them being grieving a relationship. One of the ways Amy helps her clients is to work on forgiving themselves for what feels like a weakness and to uncover their hidden strength. The emotional and physical symptoms of grief after a breakup can be so intense that the body and psyche can overwhelm the logical brain to create a way of functioning that appears necessary for survival, even though it might be self-destructive.

We all experience loss at some point, but we don't always use, or even see grief as a way to grow our lives and existing relationships.
