I work with men and women who weight cycle from chronic dieting, under eat and binge. I use Health at Every Size (HAES) approach as well as specific interventions to stabilize and normalize clients’ relationship with food and body. I specialize in treating eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, chronic dieters, compulsive overeaters, and disordered eaters. I am currently nearing the end of the process to become certified as an eating disorder specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). I have worked in both inpatient and residential settings. I use elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) as well. I also work hard to address issues surrounding body image, self-esteem and self-worth with my clients, as these go hand in hand with ED recovery.
